Threads, needles, printed fabric: all materials are provided by us. Just bring your scissors, embroidery hoop, and lamp if you prefer.
Lunch is at your expense, but there will be a space for you to eat on-site.

They attended our classesThank you again for this moment of sharing, I remain convinced of the merits of face-to-face courses, nothing beats human contact, of course there are lives, tutorials, videos and everything that modern technology brings us, but, yes, but spending time together, around a table, in a spirit of conviviality, is still exceptional.
You can ask questions, see the movement of the hand, capture the exact position to adopt to have a beautiful work. We are not necessarily looking for perfection, we just want to acquire a knack that will be easier for us to reproduce. You are very accessible, very pleasant, caring and I really enjoyed my day. I will therefore be happy to come back for the days with drawn wire, or another advanced course. I consider it a pleasure, a pleasant leisure. Thank you for everything and see you soon Christine I had the pleasure of being able to take a lesson with Christel near my home a fortnight ago. Of course the tutorials are useful, but personalized advice is lacking. I have been embroidering for more than twenty years and I know how to do a lot of stitches, except that bad habits set in and how reassuring it is to go back to the basics! Chistel's empathy, gentleness and good humor, which can also be felt on YouTube, are increased tenfold during lessons in his presence. The various photos reflect my words well, it seems to me. 100 euros for 7 hours of embroidery in private lessons seems to me completely justified because this day was really a sweet break in this hectic life that we lead and whose benefits are lasting.
Brigitte A wonderful day, we are lucky in the North to have superb haberdashery to welcome Christel who takes the trouble to move. Her smile and her kindness made us have a great day. And even if there are lives, tutorials, videos, nothing really replaces human contact and oral explanations. I remain convinced that the course given in this form is really the most interesting and the most suitable. So I'm looking forward to my third course and why not an internship here or elsewhere? This day allowed me to improve myself first of all on simple points, because even if we follow Christel's videos to the letter (I have been following them since the lotus flower), no one can correct our imprecise gestures. First, Christel was able to see my points made on a work in progress, and make constructive comments on it. Traditional embroidery is often a story of tension, and having the work in your hands and seeing us embroidering allows Christel to correct our gestures. For my part, I was in difficulty on two points, Christel immediately saw the problem and corrected it for me. Since then, the stitches are prettier and I have more pleasure in working them. The session also allowed me to learn more difficult stitches, which I do not hesitate to adapt on models of the cat in the needle. For example on the autumn wreath, I replaced a chain stitch of a mushroom foot with a palestrina stitch but I also replaced some filling stitches with satin stitch. Finally, the use of supplies, namely: the lamp for night work (compact and useful, a revelation ☺), the needle holder which allows you not to lose it anymore, and Christel's tips which are not necessarily all told in the videos. This day was intense in exchange between embroiderers on our passion, to redo very quickly. Karine

A big THANK YOU to Christel for sharing her passion, her know-how, her great kindness. I was able to deepen my knowledge to improve myself. The advantage of these courses: ask questions by showing the problem encountered and see its resolution. It seems important to me to show our work to have avenues for improvement, I also appreciated seeing the embroideries of the other participants to evaluate my work and consider other ways of doing things with regard to the desired effect. I liked blocking off an entire day dedicated to embroidery to share and exchange with all the participants in the group without being disturbed. If new embroidery lessons are organized for the stitches being created, I will return without problem.
